Donny Guerinoni
Director of Basketball
Co-Founder of TG Elite and former college coach at Stanford, LSU, Harvard, and TCU, Donny Guerinoni (“DG”) brings close to 20 years of coaching experience at elite academic and athletic institutions. In addition to overseeing all aspects of TG Elite basketball operations and programming, DG will spend the majority of his time doing what he loves most, coaching and teaching.
During his time at the college level, Donny coached and worked with 8 future NBA players, 22 players that went on to play professionally overseas, 17 players with All-Conference honors, 1 current NBA GM, and 1 current NBA coach. Before joining the coaching ranks, Donny played for the University of Nevada on a full athletic scholarship.
Originally from Sonoma County California, Guerinoni now resides in Wayland MA with his wife, Samantha, and their two young sons, Miles (5) and Max (3). Samantha was recently inducted into the Massachusetts High School Track & Field Hall of Fame, and was ranked the nation’s #1 women’s pole vaulter for two years straight while attending Weston HS. A graduate of Stanford University where she was a member of the track & field pole vaulting team, Samantha now works as a private college admissions specialist for Solomon Admissions Consulting.
Bryan Doo
Director of Athletic Performance & Longevity
Co-Founder of TG Elite and former Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Boston Celtics, Bryan Doo (“B-Doo”) will lead Athletic Performance & Longevity, implementing age-appropriate training & elite level individualized workout plans for our players.
Shortly after starting his own athletic training organization, Optimal Fitness, B-Doo was hired by the Boston Celtics as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in 2003 and remained an integral part of the team for the next 14 years. Working with all players year-round to prepare them for the rigors of the NBA season, rehab injuries, and track in-season conditioning and strength levels, Doo was able to train countless NBA All-Stars, future Hall of Famers, and Celtic legends. In addition to their 2007-2008 NBA Championship, in 2015-2016, B-Doo was voted by his peers the NBA Strength Coach of the Year.
Between his time with the Celtics and running his own training organization, Optimal Fitness, Doo has consulted and trained elite athletes from the NBA, NHL, EPL, Serie A, Olympic, USA Basketball, WTA, and more. He is a frequent speaker regarding sports and athletic development, injury prevention and team training at local and national conferences and has served as a guest lecturer at Brown University as part of the Exercise Physiology/Biomechanics course.
When not training, Doo can be found spending time with his wife Brianna, 6 children and all of their pets. Doo’s children are Mikayla (12), Kailani (10), Alana (8), Kalea (6), Maddox (5) and Atticus (3).
Jordan Jackson
Director of TG Elite AAU & Player Development
We are excited to welcome Jordan Jackson to the TG Elite Basketball team, where he will bring his extensive experience and dedication to holistic athletic training and development. A former standout at Wayland High School, Jordan was named a DCL All-Star. Over the past three years, he has coached multiple Division 1 and Division 2 teams AAU teams, guiding athletes at the highest level and gaining invaluable insights into elite basketball training.
In addition to his coaching success, he holds a degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, bringing a strategic mindset to the program. His passion for athlete development led him to obtain his personal trainer certification, further enhancing his ability to train players at all levels.
At TG Elite, Jordan will be a key component in executing our comprehensive approach to training, developing not only basketball skills but also strength, conditioning, mental resilience, and athletic longevity. His hands-on experience and commitment to fostering well-rounded athletes will play a pivotal role in helping players of all levels reach their full potential.
Casey Brinn
General Manager
With close to 20 years at the college level, Casey Brinn will serve as General Manager of TG Elite an assist with overseeing all areas of operations. Currently with the Harvard Varsity Club, Casey was a 6-year member of Tommy Amaker’s Harvard Basketball coaching staff as the Director of Operations. During this time, the Crimson captured two Ivy League championships, earned a pair of trips to the NIT where they beat Georgetown in 2019, developed two Ivy League Rookies of the Year, and one Ivy League Player of the Year.
Prior to his arrival in Cambridge, Brinn worked at Northwestern University, for both the Men’s Basketball program and the Dean of the Kellogg School of Management, in addition to Rider University, and the University of Southern Maine in basketball coaching positions. Brinn graduated from Ithaca College in 2008, where he played basketball for two seasons before serving as a student coach as a senior. He received his master’s degree in Sports Administration from Northwestern while he served as a graduate assistant for the Northwestern Men’s Basketball program. Casey worked with four of the program’s top 20 all-time leading scorers, the all-time leader in assists, the all-time leader in blocked shots, a Big Ten All-Freshman team selection and one First-Team Academic All-American.
While not spending time with his family and two sons Kolton (6) and Hawkins (4), Casey volunteers within the youth basketball programs in Framingham and Wayland and is a board member for the Northwestern Club of Boston.
